Frozen fruit snacks that I swear by.
Ok, to the outside world it seems pretty weird. But, there are a few tips I got from my slimming world leader Dyanne that have really made a difference when I'm really looking to shift some pounds and a lot of it involves... well, freezing fruit and eating it.
I've tried freezing tons of different fruit types, and some work better than others. Here are the best ones to go for (and why):
Take a ripe banana, peel it and wrap the actual banana in clingfilm. Freeze. When you take it out, give it a minute or two to thaw and I swear, it tastes just like banana ice cream. An absolute godsend when you're looking for a sweet treat.
Grapes are second best on my list as they're perfect movie snacking material. I'm the kind of person that literally has to munch while I'm watching a movie, and if you need it to be syn free, grapes are a good option. If they're frozen, they take longer to eat so you won't end up with a dodgy stomach from too many grapes!
Watermelon is another good option with its high water content. Just chop into small pieces and freeze in indivisual bags, or spear larger pieces with a skewer or lolly stick and eat like an ice cream.
